B11 45 - Christ Cornerstone

"You were built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone" (Eph 2:20). The stone of Vicenza, white or straw, extracted from the hills Berici (Vicenza), has inside fossil sediments that testify to the distant origins of this precious material. It’s so tender that it can be sawn and worked by hand. During its working, however, it begins to harden and to oppose a certain resistance to atmospheric agents. It is known worldwide for its use in the projects of Andrea Palladio and other famous architects. Today it is used in different sectors thanks to its versatility. Always current, suitable for any use, it lends itself to new ideas of designers.
