"Christ, our Passover, sacrificed himself. He is the true Lamb who took away the sins of the world, and he who, by dying, destroyed death and by rising, gave us life again. For this mystery in the fullness of Easter joy, humanity rejoices over the whole earth" (Easter Preface I).
